ARRCC revitalized a contemporary Cape Town home, originally designed by Antonio Zaninovic, by harmonizing new architectural additions with the existing structure and its natural surroundings. Key enhancements include a new garden pavilion and the transformation of an upper-level bedroom into a luxurious penthouse suite. The interiors were entirely reimagined, featuring a new enclosed wine room, while the exterior boasts an expansive terraced lawn. Throughout the project, ARRCC emphasized a dynamic interplay between modern architectural lines and the organic essence of the mountainside, strengthening the home's connection to the landscape and panoramic city views. About 2 months ago while I was scrolling through TikTok, I stumbled upon THE DON Madfunz, a guy from South Africa with amazing energy. His taste in music grabbed my attention, but it was his dancing, smile and story that really hooked me.

The Don would walk 9 miles to work every single day despite the weather or his personal safety… he risked it all for his family… and dreamed one day of his very slow walk being over and finally being able to own a car for himself so he can provide for his family

When I was thinking about the “HEALING” music video, I couldn’t get Don out of my head... I knew I had to get him involved… so I hit up my friend, and director, Theo Skudra, and we decided to make a video following a day in Don’s life.

We filmed in Dududu, a rural area about an hour outside of Durban. We captured Don's everyday life – the simple joys, the positivity, and the resilience.

While I couldn’t be there, the best part of this whole process was at the end when I surprised Don with a car. Seeing his reaction was priceless. It was one of his dreams to own a car, and knowing I could help make that happen was incredible.

With this video, I wanted to show that Don’s positive attitude and joyful spirit are something we can all learn from, no matter what we’re going through. His story is a reminder that even when life gets tough, you can still find reasons to smile. I hope this video touches your hearts like it did mine.

When I first heard Kehlani’s debut mixtape, it was a comfort that reminded me of home. The proud Oakland, Calif. native was 19 years old when that project dropped, and so was I. The tracklist was exactly what I needed as a new Washington, D.C. transplant, thousands of miles away from all of my loved ones in the Bay Area. Over the past decade I’ve followed Kehlani along their journey, growing with them as we both experienced young adulthood. Vulnerability is their superpower, and that power was put to the test at the Tiny Desk, where Kehlani succeeds with flying colors.

“It’s been a long time coming. I definitely know I’m overdue for doing this [Tiny Desk],” Kehlani says in their set. The journey starts with “Nights Like This,” the heartbreak single from their 2019 mixtape, While We Wait. Then, Kehlani switches gears into “Distraction,” from their debut album SweetSexySavage, followed by an effortless merge into “The Way,” from the 2015 project, You Should Be Here.

After the sultry sounds of “Can I,” Kehlani parks their performance for a moment. “I want to take a second to say: Free Palestine. Free Congo. Free Sudan. Free Yemen. Free Hawaii. Free Guam,” they say. “It’s deeper than this. I need everybody that’s here right now, everybody that’s watching, to step up, to use their voices.” The set then accelerates into “After Hours,” the groovy, summertime anthem from their latest album, CRASH. Kehlani conquers the Desk with raw and real talent, setting them up for a future in music that is full of possibilities. I’m eager to see their next destination.

Chicago, Illinois - July 20th, 2024. Twenty-three years and still going strong. The event was exactly what it states to be...an absolute riot. A difficult one to film as skaters came charging one after another from all directions to hit each spot in multiple different ways so if you want to try and see everything that went down I'd suggest you watch a few different edits after this one as well as staying on top of social media posts from the event. The energy from everyone was amazing and supportive and the winners went home with a nice chunk of money this year. Well done to everyone involved! Cheers!
