How medal event is judged:
1 heat of 10 athletes competing in a 30 minute jam session with :30 second maximum runs. Athletes will take as many runs as possible within the 36 minutes. Best run counts, scored 1-100. Judges will score competitors throughout the contest.

Skateboard vert is a style of skateboarding that involves performing tricks on a large U-shaped ramp called a half-pipe or vert ramp. The rider gains speed by pumping up and down the ramp, building momentum for aerial maneuvers that can reach heights of up to 15 feet or more. Skaters perform a variety of tricks, including spins, flips, and grabs, while soaring through the air above the ramp.
